I am a classical voice instructor located in Lewisville, Texas.  My studio is located 1.4 miles north of Coppell High School and south of Vista Ridge Mall.  I am now accepting students for the 2008-2009 school year. I am a trained classical vocalist who has studied for over 10 years, both at the high school and college level. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from Brigham Young University, where my emphasis was in voice.  I have sung with the Coppell High School Madrigals (captain), Texas All-State Mixed Choir and Treble Choir, The BYU Women’s Chorus (where I served as section leader), and church choirs in Texas and Utah.  I find the experience of singing in a choir exhilarating and moving, but the art of singing goes beyond blending in with the group. I believe every voice can sing beautifully, with the proper training. I am committed to uncovering and sharing the beauty in others voices. This is why I teach. Each student who studies at the Andrea Taylor Music Studio is taught with customized and individualized methods.  Each performer is unique and as a result must be taught in a way which is tailored to that individual.
